Clashes in Samboora Pulwama, 8 injured

Srinagar: Eight people were injured after clashes broke out between government forces and protesters in Samboora area of Pulwama district on Friday morning.

Reports said that forces launched a search operation and stopped vehicular movement in the area after suspected movement of militants in the area.They said that forces cordoned off Samboora area and launched a massive search operation in Galander area.

According to eyewitness, forece resorted to aerial firing and teargas shelling on the protesters.Out of eight, two of the injured were shifted to SMHS hospital Srinagar for treatment.
