Burhan Wani A Martyr: Shiv Sena (H)

Srinagar: Mumbai based political party ‘Shiv Sena Hindustan’ Thursday described the people killed in the current unrest as ‘martyrs’ and said that criminal cases should be lodged against the official’s at the helm of affairs for creating a havoc across Kashmir after the ‘martyrdom’ of Burhan Muzzaffar Wani.

“It was the State Government and its agencies that forced Burhan to take the gun. Who killed Khalid Wani, the innocent brother of Burhan. The government announcement to compensate Khalid’s father amply proves that Khalid was innocent and was murdered in cold blood by state actors,” National Vice President Shiv Sena Hindustan Pandit Rajesh Kesari said. “The wrong policies pursued by the state and central governments are the reason for anti-India sentiments in Kashmir Valley.”

Kesari said that Burhan was not a terrorist but a martyr who fought against the suppressive and oppressive policies and attitude of the state and central governments. “After his martyrdom, innocent people were maimed, blinded and killed. What government got by killing innocent people? Now the Chief Minister of the State is shedding crocodile tears. The fact is that government has let loose a reign of terror here in Kashmir,” he said.

“Eyeing on the Parliament elections, the state government is now claiming that it will conduct Panchayat elections. Panchayat elections drama is staged to win the votes from people in Parliament elections,” he said. (CNS)
