Srinagar: Expressing serious concern over the conspiring silence of J&K government over the enforcement of SARFAESI act in the state, the Kashmir Economic Alliance (KEA) on Wednesday said the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP)-led coalition is working on the diktats of the rightwing forces.
KTMF Chairman Muhammad Yasin Khan said the state government remained silent to implement anti-Kashmir agenda on multiple occasions.
The Chief Minister must rise to the occasion. We dont want statements from government, we want action that upholds and safeguards interests of the state, said Khan, who also heads the Kashmir Traders and Manufacturers Association (KTMF).
Khan said until now the role of the state government has been of a facilitator of SARFAESI act in the state and that the business community would never tolerate this.
After months, the business activities have just been limping back and instead of creating conducive environment the government is paying way for more controversies. This is intolerable, said Khan.
He said the KEA and KTMF would be the last to tolerate conspiracies against Kashmir. We have already sacrificed a lot and we dont mind sacrificing more for the cause of this nation, he said.
