Hit by army ambulance, woman dies in Baramulla

Srinagar: A woman was killed Friday after being hit by an army ambulance in Rafiabad area of Baramulla district in northern part of Kashmir, reports said.

The woman, identified as Khursha Begum, wife of Muhammad Ramzan of Hadipora Rafiabad, sustained injuries after she was hit by an army ambulance of Drugmulla Army hospital at Hadipora Rafiabad, the reports added.

She was rushed to Baramulla district hospital where from she was referred to SKIMS for advanced treatment.

However, Khursha succumbed to her injuries at SKIMS hospital.

Meanwhile, police sources said that a case under FIR no 127/2016 under section 279 and 337 RPC has been registered in PS Dangiwacha Police Station.
