SRINAGAR:Hizbul Mujahideen on Wednesday said that killing civilians by branding them as militants and later admitting their killings in cold blood by releasing ex-gratia relief in their favour is like challenging the conscience of Kashmiri people.
In an emailed statement to KNS, Hizb spokesman Saleem Hashmi said that the killing of Khalid-elder brother of slain militant commander Burhan Wani has already given birth to hundreds of Khalids and Burhans.
This blood was precious, is precious and will remain precious and no price can be fixed for this blood. He said offering petty perks and jobs are no substitute to this blood, he said.
The Hizb spokesman added that like Khalid, the Indian forces with the patronage of successive regimes in J&K have killed thousands of civilians by naming them as militants and hundreds have been left blind in the current uprising.
He said the sacrifices wont be let go waste and will be taken to the logical conclusion till the dawn of freedom is seen.
