SRINAGAR:The Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi (SAW), birthday of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), is being celebrated with religious fervour and gaiety across the Kashmir valley on Monday.
Milad processions were taken out in Islamabad, Kulgam, Pulwama and Shopian amid tight security, reports and witnesses said.
Braving the chilling temperatures, devotees thronged the mosques and shrines across the valley and offered night-long prayers.
Thousands of devotees also thronged the Hazratbal Shrine which houses the relics of the prophet of Islam (S.A.W).
