Srinagar,: The Government is set to resume the work on Jehangir Chowk to Rambagh flyover which was suspended immediately after the unrest in Kashmir this year.
Talking to KNS Finance Minister Dr. Haseeb Drabu said “The work on Jehangir Chowk to Rambagh flyover had to be suspended after armed uprising erupted in Kashmir on July 08. The construction of the flyover was to be completed by March end 2017 as per the guidelines of Asian Development Bank (ADB) and as such the Government was forced to take up the issue of the leftover work with the authorities of Asian Development Bank (ADB).
Stating that Asian Development Bank (ADB) has agreed to extend the date for the completion of work on the flyover beyond March 31st 2017 deadline the finance minister said “the work on the leftover part of the flyover would be started in next 20 days. (KNS
