Srinagar: Joint resistance leadership Syed Ali Geelani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Mohammad Yasin Malik, in response to the request of Sikh community, has postponed the Lal Chowk program on Monday the 14th of November 2016.
Leaders said that we believe in the golden ethos of religious freedom and tranquility. They said that age old strong social and communal fabric stands testimony to our rich and glorious past. Giving details, pro-freedom leaders said that on 14 November 2016 only “Lal Chowk Chaloo” program has been postponed rest of the day’s activities remain unchanged.
Resistance leaders, while congratulating Sikh community, have said that like Sikhs, Pundits, Buddhists, Christians and all other sects are inseparable entity of our society and we respect and honor everybody’s sentiments. Leaders said that we don’t believe in hypocrisy and dualism like the puppets of Indian rulers, who lockdown the Mosques here but participate in the religious activities of others, proving the intimacy and familiarity to their coalition partners.
