SRINAGAR:Eight shops were damaged in different fire incidents in Srinagar and Ganderbal districts of Central Kashmir.
In Srinagar, fire broke out in a shop belonging to Mohammad Farid Sheikh son of Ghulam Qadir Sheikh resident of Sonwar at Sonwar, Srinagar, resulting in complete damage to the shop.
Meanwhile, broke out in the shop at Jawahir Nagar in Srinagar, resulting in damage to the shop.
In another incident, fire broke out at Bus Stand Batamaloo near Mirakshah Stand, Srinagar in which five shops were damaged.
Fire tenders with the assistance of police and locals brought these fire incidents under control.
In Ganderbal, fire broke out in a bakery shop belonging to Showkat Ahmad Sofi son of Ghulam Nabi Sofi resident of Tengpora at Behama Ganderbal, resulting in partial damage to the shop. Fire was brought under control by fire tenders and locals. (PTK)
