Lady Killed In Cross Border Firing In Poonch

Poonch:A lady was killed as India and Pakistan exchanged heavy gunfire and shelling along the Line of Control (LoC) in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir.

Reports said that 54-year-old woman died after a mortar shell landed near her.

The borders – IB and LoC in Jammu and Kashmir are witnessing flare up in exchange of fire between the rival armies of India and Pakistan. Many lives have been lost in last few months while scores others have been injured.

Reports added that the daughter of the deceased was also injured due to splinter injuries.
