Pulwama:Six persons were injured in clashes between government forces and protestors that erupted in Rahmoo village of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Monday.
According to sources government forces including Indian army arrived in Rahmoo and started bringing down some banners which irritated people who started protesting.
The banners with pictures of local militants were erected by locals in the area some time back.
Soon after people started protesting by raising pro-freedom and anti-India slogans, the forces fired tear smoke shells to disperse them.
This resulted in clashes during which forces resorted to aerial firing spreading panic in the area, sources said .
