Srinagar: Former Union Finance Minister of India Yashwant Sinha Wednesday said that the visiting delegation got a positive feedback from all the stakeholders from Kashmir Valley.
“We talked to every leader and every group in a cordial atmosphere and the meetings were result oriented,” Sinha told reporters after meeting a delegation from trader’s bodies here in Srinagar city. “All the stake-holders gave positive feedback and I am quite satisfied.”
“We will try to meet every stake-holder. I can tell you that we are getting good feedback. We have to move ahead and there is a need to learn from the past and the events that unfolded in Valley from time to time,” Sinha said.
KEF Hails Sinha-Led Delegation
Welcoming the BJP senior leader and former Union minister Yashwant Sinha led five member delegation’s initiative to end the 110 day Kashmir unrest, the Kashmir Economic Forum (KEF) demanded immediate release of all detenues and withdrawal of PSA against them to take forward the move.
We welcome the initiatives taken by the Sinha-led delegation who are holding talks with separatist leaders and others in the valley to end the stalemate, KEF chairman Showkat Choudhary said on Wednesday.
