PDP’s narrative is all about killings and blinding people: Kara

New Delhi: Reacting to the remarks made by People’s Democratic Party leader and Member Parliament Muzaffar Hussain Beigh that the “historic” PDP-BJP coalition in Jammu and Kashmir has been able to change the political narrative, former Member Parliament Tariq Hameed Kara Thursday said that there is no doubt this new changing narrative of PDP-BJP is all about killings, torture, maiming and blinding of Kashmiri people, ransacking of houses, arrests and night raids.

“PDP was formed to restore the dignity of common people of Kashmir but the power made the party leaders blind and it started killing people without any mercy. Of course PDP changed the narrative here by suppressing, repressing and oppressing people,” Kara said over phone from New Delhi.

He said PDP has been resorting to the highest degree of brutalities across Kashmir Valley. “People have seen the real face of this party and it is destined to disappear from the political map of Jammu and Kashmir. On the behest of RSS, the party is butchering people in Kashmir and history will record their new narrative of killings in black letters,” he said.

“This shameless party which till yesterday was raising hue and cry over the arrest spree in Kashmir has made nocturnal raids a perpetual process. It should introspect and stop harassing people. It is not even sparing elderly persons and has been randomly booking them under Public Safety Act,” Kara said adding that the PDP statements can’t heal the wounds of people. (CNS)
