SRINAGAR: Students of class 10th and 12th today staged a protest in Ganderbal demanding deferment of examinations. Reports said that students of various schools staged demonstrations in Duderhama and Prang areas of Kangan.
Several students told media, “We are not prepared for writing the examination. On one side they are killing our and on the other side they want us to take exams. We won’t appear for exams in any case. We are united in this decision,” said the students.
One student Bisma from Ganderbal said, “I lost all my books and notes. The forces raided the houses in our area during the night raids and in the mayhem I found my bag and books tore apart,” she said.
Another student Amir said that it seriously shows that how much education is important for them. “After killing Junaid, a student of class 7th, they want others to appear for examinations,” he said. (PTK)
