Srinagar: Militant outfit Hizbul Mujhadeen has said that under the garb of surgical strikes India wants to create tension on the Line of Control with a view to deflect and divert the attention of world community from Kashmir.

As per a statement issued to news agency CNS, Hizb Chief Syed Salahuddin while addressing a high level meeting said that India has been employing all the tactics to break the resolve of the Kashmir people and in order to crush the ongoing freedom struggle it has not only been killing innocent people but also working on plan to make crush people economically.

Condemning the arrest of Dukhtaran-e-Milat chairperson Syedah Aasiya Andrabi, the Hizb chief said that the contributions and sacrifices of Andrabi will always be remembered and cherished. “The detention of ailing lady like Andrabi and thousands of youth shows the true atrocious character of India,” he said.

Syed Salahuddin appealed to International Human Rights organizations to take note of rights violations taking place in Kashmir. “We thank Government of Pakistan, Opposition parties and people of the country for expressing solidarity with the masses of Kashmir, but Pakistan needs to do more to help Kashmiri people,” he said adding the freedom struggle will bear fruit due to sacrifices of the people.
