Srinagar: The paramilitary forces have vacated several government schools including SP School Srinagar occupied by them just few days back.
Divisional Commissioner Kashmir Baseer Ahmad Khan told KNS “that the schools occupied by forces has been vacated as students are scheduled to appear in an examination”.
The forces who had occupied schools have been provided alternative accommodations and made it clear that forces were present in very few schools.
Several schools has been vacated by the forces ahead of the meeting of the Chief Minister with the Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the current unrest in Kashmir today. As already reported the paramilitary forces had occupied more than 20 schools in Srinagar city few days back.
The forces are occupying school buildings other than these four Schools in Srinagar city as of now.
Confirming the vacation of forces from schools the DIG Central Kashmir Ghulam Hassan Bhat told KNS, forces have immediately vacated the schools where NET-National Eligibility test is scheduled to be held tomorrow. (KNS)
