Srinagar: While the unrest in Kashmir Valley entered its 34th day, with mobile services suspended again, the security agencies Friday sounded high alert across the conflict torn region ahead of separatist call for a Referendum March to Lal Chowk, the political nerve centre of Srinagar on Saturday.
‘United Resistance Camp’ has called for Referendum March on Saturday, August 13 and celebrations on Pakistan day on 14th of August.
Reports said activists from Hurriyat (G) erecting platforms across rural Kashmir for pro-Pakistan ceremonies.
Areas such as Pulwama, Sopore and Anantnag and the Sopore-Doabgah-Rafiabad road are already dotted with makeshift sites in preparation for the celebrations, reports reaching here said.
