Chemists offer 10 % discount on medicine

Srinagar: Condemning the civilian killings and use of excessive force against the protesters in Kashmir, All Kashmir Chemists and Distributors Association (AKCDA) Sunday appealed distributors and chemists to offer discount up to 10 per cent on medicines and lifesaving drugs to the public.
AKCDA Chief organizer, Sheikh Abdul Rashid told KNS that in view of the present uprising in Kashmir, they appeal distributors and chemists to offer discount up to 10 per cent to the people in valley.
Rashid alleged that the ambulances meant for ferrying patients are being used by officials.
He said that association will follow the Hurriyat programmes in Letter and Spirit. “We are trying to contribute in this on-going struggle and will follow the programmes to take the on-going movement to its logical conclusion,” he said.
