7 injured in Bijbehara clashes,2 critical

SRINAGAR: At least Seven civilians, including two women, were injured injured in clashes between forces and protestors in Semthan area of Bijbehara of Anantnag District.Two injured are said to be critical .
Witnesses said Government forces on Monday morning barged into several houses in Semthan village of Bijbehara, following which people took to streets as a mark of protest.
Forces fired pellets at the protesters, triggering massive clashes in which seven people sustained pellet injuries.
The injured were sent to SDH Bijbehara where from two critically injured persons were referred to Srinagar for advanced treatment, said an official.
