List of 60 Persons Killed in 29 Days


Srinagar: As the death toll mounts constantly with no let up in police and paramilitary use of force against protesters there is confusion in the number of people killed so far. While various news agencies put the figure at 50 police still maintains that only 35 persons have lost their lives in 29 days of unrest which erupted following killing of Burhan Wani, a popular militant commander in South Kashmir on July 8. Kashmir Observer research team compiled the list of people killed in 29 days of unrest from authoritative sources and places the figure at 60.
