Authorities today imposed strict curfew and restrictions in the Kashmir Valley foil a proposed march to Hazratbal Shrine by Unified Resistance leadership.
Reports from various areas said that a strict curfew has been imposed today to foil 'Hazratbal Chalo' .
Curfew and restrictions under section 144 CrPc (Criminal Procedure Code)have been imposed in Shopian, Kulgam, Pulwama, Anantnag, Baramulla and Srinagar, Said a Police Official.
More than 50 civilians have been killed in the present unrest in the Valley following the killing of Hizb commander, Burhan Wani in a gunfight on July 8.
