Srinagar: Syed Ali Geelani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Muhammad Yasin Malik Thursday condemned ‘puppet’ Govt  for refusing to relax curfew and restrictions imposed across the state even after 13 days”.

According to a joint statement, the leadership alleged that it is the “regime’s vendetta and punishment against people for supporting the resistance movement and its leaders”. “The leadership said that the ruling regime needs to understand and be absolutely clear that the more they will suppress people the more they will resist and revolt,” they said.

The leaders said: “The people of Kashmir are resolute on their demand for freedom and justice and when nations rise for justice and against oppression no power on earth or military might can deter them as is being shown by the courageous and stead fast people of Kashmir who are braving the worst kind of state aggression in modern times.”

The joint leadership condemned the alleged highhandedness of the ‘anti-people’ regime and said it has touched the new height today when their police force asked the local volunteers working to provide food and medicine to the injured and their attendants at State Hospital to stop their activities immediately or face consequences.

“These actions are an indicator to people to be ready as the assault on them will get more and more aggressive and anti human.”
