Srinagar: Authorities here in Kashmir have blocked the news website of Current News Service (CNS). Though nobody from the government or Information Technology Department confirmed it, however, sources said that the website has been disabled in wake of ongoing unrest.

Authorities have already snapped internet and mobile services and had even asked media houses to shut their operations till July 19, a move aimed at to blockade all sort of information.

Pertinently, since July 8 this month authorities here have blocked numerous facebook news pages that had been supplying current information to the users here. When contacted a police official feigned ignorance and said that they didn’t block or disable any news website in Kashmir. (CNS)
