Srinagar: Chairman Hurriyat Conference (G) Syed Ali Geelani Saturday strongly condemned the suicide terrorist attack in the city of NICE in France, wherein 84 people including children and women died and hundreds critically injured.

He termed it a heinous and brutal act not only against the people of France, but whole humanity and anybody with a human heart will find his words insufficient in condemning this barbaric act.

In a statement Geelani said, “We as a nation sympathize with the family of those who were killed or injured and share their grief from the inner core of our heart. We can better feel pain and agony of these brutalities as ourselves suffer similar kind of blood-shed and destruction by the Indian occupying forces each and every day for the last more than seven decades.”

He said this is our fourth generation which has been brought up in volatile atmosphere of war like situation.

“We are penalized and tortured just for the demand of our basic and birth right, right to self-determination,” he said.
