Bilawal Calls Mirwaiz, Expresses Solidarity

Srinagar: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman, Bilalwal Bhutto Zardari Thursday called the Hurriyat Conference (M) Chairman Mirwaiz Umar Farooq over phone to express deep concern over the abject human rights and deteriorating situation in Kashmir and condemned the killings of dozens of Kashmiris and injuries to hundreds of people at the hands of Indian forces.

Bilawal told the Mirwaiz that for expressing solidarity with people of Kashmir, PPP would organize programmes throughout Pakistan on Friday at the time of Friday congregational prayers on July 15 and promised to the Kashmiri leadership and people of Kashmir that PPP and entire Pakistan stands with them in these difficult times.

On the occasion, Bilawal promised the Mirwaiz and all Kashmiris that like his maternal grandfather, Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and his mother, Benzir Bhutto, he and his party stand for the resolution of Kashmir issue as per the wishes and aspirations of the people of Kashmir in light of the United Nations Resolutions.

He said the sacrifices of the people of Kashmir had been recorded in golden words of history and PPP and Pakistan were duty bound to help in the resolution of this long-standing issue.
