Tral Inhabitants Install Langers for People Visiting Slain Burhan’s Residence


SRINAGAR: People from across the Valley on the second consecutive day on Sunday con­tinued to visit the residence of Hizb commander, Burhan Mu­zaffar Wani to express solidar­ity with the bereaved family.

According to KNS correspon­dent, people from all walks of life visited Burhan’s residence where they paid tributes to slain Hizb militant.

People in large number in Bikes, private vehicles, load carriers and other transports reached to Tral area of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district to express solidarity with be­reaved family.

Witnesses said that inhabitants of different localities have in­stalled various langers on the roads for the people who were visiting Burhan’s residence. 

Meanwhile, witnesses said that clashes were also erupted in several area of Tral and were chanting pr-freedom and pro-Burhan slogans.

Most popular Hizb command­er, Burhan Muzaffar Wani alongwith his two associates were killed in an encounter that raged between forces and militants in Kokernag area of south Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Friday. 

The body of the slain Hizb com­mander was handed over to the family on Saturday morn­ing for the last rites. 

“About 2 lakh people attended the funer­al prayers of Burhan Wani,” reports said, adding that 16 youth were also killed during the clashes between youth and forces in Kashmir following the killing of Wani. (KNS)
