J&K’s Anjum Fazili nominated as President North India Thang Ta Federation

SRINAGAR:  The President,Thang Ta Federation of India , H Prem Kumar Singh Thursday nominated PDP leader Anjum Fazili as the president o f North India Thang Ta Federation, a statement from the Jammu and Kashmir State Sports School said.

The decision was taken after special General Meeting of the Federation in Imphal  Manipur. 

The post, according to the statement, authorizes, Fazili to look into the promotion and development of the sport of Indian Indigenous Martial arts Thang Ta in all the seven states falling in the North Zone.

The players , coaches and the state associations from the north region  have welcomed  the decision and congratulated her for her nomination, the statement said.
