SRINAGAR: Physical Education College Ganderbal showed their dominance yet again as they emerged overall winners in both men and womens events in the Annual Inter-College Athletic Meet which concluded Monday at Kashmir University Ground.
It was complete dominance from the college, coming out toppers in overall standings at the end of four-day event. Amar Singh College secured overall second in the mens events while University of Kashmir took the second spot in the womens category.
The tournament was organised by Directorate of Physical Education and Sports University of Kashmir.
According to the statement issued by the varsitys media cell, Prof. Musadiq Amin Sahaf, Registrar University of Kashmir was the chief guest.
He highlighted the importance of sports and physical activity.
Prof. Nisar , Director, Directorate of Physical Education and Sports thanked the principals of all colleges for their cooperation in making the event a grand success.
The event saw participation from almost 25 colleges in which more than 500 students participated.
