Srinagar: Partap World School of Pathankot created Guinness World Record by making the longest line of postcards in the world on May 24. The school made 14,884 postcards with a length of 1,518 meters from 1,500 students and teachers of the school. It bettered the previous world record of 11,863 postcards created at Shanghai Town and Country Club in Shanghai, China, on 19th April 2016. The event was conceptualised and designed by Vickrant Mahajan, former India actor, motivational author and the founder of Superpositivity Movement and Sunny Mahajan.

Vickrant has already created Guinness World Records for longest speech, longest play, largest book signing and the largest greetings card and is trying to become the first person in the world to create 100 Guinness World Records in one year.

Speaking on the occasion, Sunny Mahajan, the joint secretary  of the school said: “Partap World School stands for holistic development of a child and by creating a Guinness World Record, we are trying to motivate our students that they are at par with anyone, anywhere in the world.”
