Asiea says steps afoot to improve socio economic outlook

Srinagar:  Minister of State for Housing, Urban Development, Social Welfare and Health & Medical Education, Ms. Asiea Naqash today conducted city tour and took stock of various ongoing developmental works.

The Minister visited areas like Khankah Moalla, Achan ,Sangermall Shopping Complex and other places.

While speaking to people Ms. Asiea said government is committed to provide good governance to the people of the state. She said necessary mechanism has already been put in place to achiev tangible results.

The Minister while visiting Achan area stressed for  proper dumping of solid waste and said that necessary steps have already been initiated as the same is being monitored by the Chief Minister.

At Sangermall Shoping Complex she was apprised by SDA on various proposals which are under process via Multiplex structure with Parking , Food Court, children park etc. She said that the government is working round the clock to improve socio economic outlook of the state.

Ms Naqash directed SDA for opening shops which are not functional. She further assured the shopkeepers of the central market that their genuine problems will be sorted out.

Commissioner SMC, Bashir Ahmad Khan, VC SDA Tahseen Mustafa, officers of the UEED department besides other senior officers of the concerned departments accompanied the Minister. (PTK)
