Srinagar: Lone Star Kashmir Football Club edged past Food and Supplies in the last quarter final of the 24th State Football Championship played at Astro Turf TRC Ground Srinagar on Tuesday.

The win takes LSKFC into the semis of the tourney where they will lock horns with DFA Srinagar today at the same venue.

It was a hard fought tie with both teams restoring to fast paced soccer. Goals were hard to come by though. LSKFC went ahead in the first half but F&S fought back to make it 1-1. The scoreline didn’t change despite efforts from the both sides which prompted a tie-breaker.

LSKFC proved to be a far better side in the penalty shootout to walk away the game and seal their berth in last four stages.

J&K Bank has already reached the finals.
