Pak refuses to give India access to captured ‘spy’

Pakistan Foreign Secretary Aizaz Chaudhry has reportedly told his Indian counterpart S. Jaishankar that Pakistan cannot give consular access to apprehended Indian man, Kulbhushan Jadhav, who the Pakistani authorities have described an agent of the Indian spy agency, Research Analysis Wing (RAW).

During his meeting with Jaishankar on the sidelines of Heart of Asia Conference in New Delhi today (Tuesday), Aizaz Chaudhry stated that the Indian ‘spy’ is being interrogated in the light of his ‘confessional’ statement, thus, consular access cannot be granted as it is matter of the national security, sources said.
