PDP-BJP Govt hell bent to change demography of JK: Hurriyat (G)


Srinagar: Under the garb of National Urban Livelihood Mission (NULM),indian think tank with help of PDP BJP government trying to convert the Muslim majority community of Jammu and Kashmir into a minority community and warn Authorities don’t try it as it bound to have serious resistance.

Hurriyat Conference (G) executive council hold an emergency meeting at Hyderpora Head office under the supervision of Dy General secretary Ghulam Nabi Sumji, in which all the heads of constituent participated in it. Those who took part including Tehreek Wahdeti islami, Democratic Political Movement, Muslim Conference, Mass Movement, Peoples League, Peoples Freedom League, Muslim Democratic League, Kashmir Freedom Front, Islamic Political Party, Gujar Pahadi Republican Forum, Muslim Khwateen Markez, Tehreek Mazhamat, National Front, Freedom Party, Kashmir Tehreek Khwateen, Tehreek Hurriyat, Insaaf Party, Social and Peace Forum, Employees Movement.

During the meeting Hurriyat Conference (G) taking serious note on this issue and alleged that this was done with no other reason but to change the Muslim-majority status of the state.

Terming, it a well thought out plan of Indian think tank with the help of state government, Hurriyat Conference said, it is a deep rooted ploy to convert majority into minority.

In a day long executive meeting, Hurriyat (G) warned PDP-BJP government of serious consequences if they persists with the same design.

In a statement issued to KNS, Hurriyat (G) said, that the real motive behind such things as in the recent past efforts was made to settle kashmiri pandits in satellite colonies or rehabilitate retired army personnels and some other day efforts were made to settle west Pakistan refugees these all are evil designs and said that in Kashmir valley there is nothing like issue of homelessness.

Moreover, Hurriyat Conference (G) strongly condemn the Parimpora police station action in which notices has been delivered to around 80 students majority of them are under the age of 18 years and asked them to make their presence at police stations regularly.

Hurriyat Conference (G) also demands of removal of CRPF camp as it proved life threatening for common masses and reiterated their demand to book Dy commanding officer belongs to the same CRPF camp for murdering Gowher Ahmed.

Asked police to stop harassing innocent young ones else we have no option left to come on streets along with masses over it. (KNS)
