DC Budgam reviews developmental projects, Capex budget


BUDGAM: The District Development Commissioner Budgam Mir Altaf Ahmad today chaired a review meeting regarding Capex Budget (2015-16), and other State and Centrally Sponsored schemes, besides district development decisions.

During the meeting it was given out that against the total allocation of Rs.168.02 crores earmarked for the year 2015-16  under Capex Budget(2015-16) , an amount of Rs.175.47 crores has been made available to the district against which   99.61 percent expenditure has been made till March 2016.

 The DDC appreciated the efforts of the district officers with regard to utilisation of funds and physical achievements made during 2015-16  

The meeting was informed that the government has already released 25% of the Capex Budget for the current financial year and the district officers were stressed to go ahead with the execution of the ongoing schemes .

Meanwhile, the DDC directed committees constituted for monitoring of the developmental schemes to make the spot visits of the schemes executed during the last financial year  and furnish comprehensive report of the same.

The DDC also stressed the concerned officers  to implement the pending DDB decisions. 

The review meeting was attended by SE R&B ,PDD,CPO, and other concerned officers.
