SaMaPa Aalap music concert held at GWDC Nawakadal

 SRINAGAR: As a part of ongoing music festival organised by Sopori Music and Performing Arts (SaMaPa) a music concert was held at Government Women’s Degree College Nawakadal in  Shaher-i-khaas here today.

The music concert featured artists from outside the state and local artists as well who by their delightful performances enthralled the audience. Many students of the college also performed in the concert which was appreciated by the audience.

The audience including students and teachers of the college besides senior district officers were treated to classical, Kashmiri, Sufi, Ghazal and other traditional songs.

On the occasion, the organizers said the main aim of the festival is to take music to the masses and identify local talent and to preserve the rich cultural heritage of the state. 

The SaMaPa Aalap music festival commenced on March 16 and will conclude on March 26.
