ATM guards fiddle with gun, one dies

Srinagar; A security guard, deployed at a Jammu and Kashmir Bank Automated Teller Machine (ATM) in Srinagar, was killed in accidental firing, official sources said here today.

They said two guards of a private company Mohammad Altaf Lala and Javid Ahmad Dar, were deployed at ATM machine near Islamia College on the city outskirts.

However, a 12 bore gun went off accidently when they were playing with each other, resulting in serious bullet injuries to Lala. The injured was immediately taken to Sher-i-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences, Soura.
