Srinagar: Several deputations from different parts of Kashmir Monday called on the Advisor to Governor, Khurshid Ahmad Ganai here and apprised him about their grievances and problems.
The grievances pertained to road connectivity, flood relief, health services and other day-to-day public issues. The Advisor gave patient hearing to the demands put forth by the deputations and asked the concerned authorities to take adequate measure for time bound redressal of the same.
Deputations of daily-wagers of PHE, Irrigation & Flood Control, Social Welfare and other Departments also apprised him of their issues pertaining to regularization and promotions.
The deputations who also met the Advisor include members of Agricultural Graduates Association, Kashmiri Pandit Sangharsh Samiti, Pashmina Weavers, Zaffran Truckers Association, Industrialists, students and others. The Advisor assured them that all possible support will be provided to them by the government.
MLA Eidgah, Mubarak Gul, also called on the Advisor and apprised him of the situation emerging due to problems at Achan dumping ground in his constituency. He asked the Advisor to explore the modalities for searching of new dumping site. (CNS)
