Srinagar:-District Development Commissioner, Mohammad Harun Monday reviewed the district CAPEX Budget (2015-16) in a meeting of sectoral officers here today.
Chief Planning Officer, S R Bhagat, Chief Medical Officer, Dr Mumtaz Bhatti, XEn R&B, Mushtaq Raina, XEn PHE, Qayoom Choudhary, XEn I&FC, Mushtaq Choudhary, XEn PDD, Nisar Choudhary and other officers were attended the meeting.
The meeting was informed that against the total allocation of Rs. 16924.11 lacs for the year 2015-16 under CAPEX Budget, an amount of Rs. 6741.01 lacs was made available to different departments against which 89% expenditure has been made till February 2016.
DDC stressed upon the officers to accelerate the pace of ongoing works so that targets fixed for the current financial year are achieved in full. He also impressed upon the concerned officers to register 100% expenditure and submit the plan for the year 2016-17 by the end of April.
However, detailed deliberations were held on Tribal Sub-Plan ((TSP) in another meeting of officers and members of Gujjar-Bakerwal Advisory Board convened by the DDC. Achievements of different departments under Tribal Sub-Plan were discussed and DDC exhorted upon the officers and members to monitor the ongoing works under the plan. He called for comprehensive planning to ensure that the desired objectives of the schemes under TSP are achieved. Various issues regarding Tribal Smart Village, water supply schemes, scholarships and welfare schemes under TSP were also discussed in the meeting.
