Prayers for the wellbeing of Geelani offered at Imambara Magam

Budgam:  During a sacred congregation with regard to ‘Ayam-e-Fatimia’ special prayers were organized for the well-being of ailing Hurriyat leader Syed Ali Geelani at Yagipora Magam Imam Bara in Central Kashmir’s Budgam district. The congregational meeting was organized by Jammu Kashmir Anjuman-e-Shari Shian in which thousands of devotees participated. Addressing the gathering Aga Syed Aqeel-ul-Almosvi Alsafvi throw light on the teachings and life of Hazrat Fatima (RA). Special prayers for the speedy recovery of Syed Ali Geelani were also organized.

Anjuman-e-Shari Shian president Aga Syed Hasan has also prayed for the wellbeing of the ailing leaders and criticized India for not allowing Geelani Sahab to visit outside country for medication. He said Geelani is the epitome of Kashmir Freedom Struggle and appealed people to pray special prayers for him. Aga Syed Hasan also condemned the attacked on Kashmiri student in Russia. (CNS)
