Cleanliness drive launched in Bemina

SRINAGAR: A mega cleanliness drive was today launched by the Department of Ecology, Environment and Remote Sensing here at Bemina.

The drive organised in collaboration with Srinagar Municipal Corporation(SMC) witnessed participation of students of New Bonvant School along with men and machinery of civic body.

The target areas were various colonies of SDA Bemina. During the drive locals of the area were educated regarding the importance of clean and green environment.

The drive was flagged off by Secretary SMC and social activists briefed the participants of the area regarding importance of conducting such civic activities.
