Srinagar: Accusing police of destroying future of youth and forcing them to join underground movements AIP Chairman Er Rasheed has warned district administration Kupwara of dire consequences if it doesnt stop its pro-active policy towards people especially youth.
While reacting sharply to slapping of draconian PSA on two youth of Langate namely Umar Mushtaq Mir and Gh Nabi Lone, Er Rasheed said that the act is just to divert the attention from the allegations leveled by BJP senior leader Ravindar Raina, claiming that few police officers are working on the pay roll of ISIS and ISI. Er Rasheed said, Police couldnt collect the courage to take Ravindar Raina to task but in frustration to prove their loyalty to Sang Parivar and to show that police doesnt have any soft corner towards Er Rasheed or people of his constituency, under a well-crafted plan, police slapped PSA on two innocents.
However the cowardly act will not make us to succumb and we will continue fight for the resolution of Kashmir dispute in its historic perspective. Er Rasheed further added that on one hand police didnt bothered to investigate even one of the serious allegations which were brought in the notice of Governor by me but on the other hand has started a dirty tactics thus proving that J&K is not only a police state but has two different sets of laws for Hindus and Muslims, as had police been really true to its duties the killers of those innocents martyred in Jammu province in the recent past would have been taken to task.
