BJP state unit asked not to speak to press

SRINAGAR: The BJP high command has reprimanded its state unit in Jammu and Kashmir over issuing any statement to press vis-à-vis the present deadlock and the formation of the new government, sources divulged.

It was informed further that ahead of the government formation the statements being issued by some BJP leaders in the state have been taken with the much serious note by the BJP high command and that it has been instructed to them not issue any statement over the issue till fresh directions.

The state is witnessing a stalemate since the demise of the chief minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed on January 7, this year at AIIMS New Delhi. 

The BJP high command reportedly wants to maintain secrecy till a major breakthrough is achieved.
