SRINAGAR: Chairperson JKLF Muhammad Yasin Malik Wednesday expressed his heartfelt grief and sorrow over the demise of father of veteran journalist Shah Abbas.
Terming his demise as personal loss, Malik prayed for his heavenly abode and expressed solidarity with the bereaved family, a statement issued by JKLF said.
Meanwhile, Malik also expressed his condolences to the family of religious scholar of Sonwer Kashmir Moulana Muhammad Ashraf who breathed his lost today.
Malik also expressed sorrow on the demise of veteran socio religious personality of Baderwah Abdul Hai Khateeb. Terming him as a social, religious and pro-resistance personality, Malik said that his demise is a loss for Kashmiri nation. Yasin prayed for his heavenly abode and expressed solidarity with his bereaved family, the statement added.
The statement further said that a JKLF office was today inaugurated at Gilgit-Baltistan.
JKLF supreme leader Ammanullah Khan inaugurated the office. The office is situated in Dar plaza Gilgit. JKLF zonal president Doctor Tawqeer Geelani and convener Gilgit Baltistan Saif ud Din Bhat also participated in the inaugural ceremony, the statement added.
