BHADARWAH: Taking cognizance of unabated green felling of Cedar and Pine trees in Bhaderwah, Forest Department Tuesday ordered an inquiry to fix responsibility on the alleged corrupt officials.
Chief Conservator Forest Jammu Roshan Jaggi told CNS that he has ordered an enquiry and deputed two teams to ascertain the facts about illegal green felling in Neeru Range of Bhaderwah Forest division of Jammu region.
“What I have to do will do, as I have ordered an enquiry into the matter to ascertain the factual position in a couple of days and for that I have already constituted a team from Jammu and in the meantime have asked DFO Bhadarwah to personally visit the area from where damages have been reported and submit the report at the earliest.” said Chief Conservator Forest
