Humanism, Rationalism Against Islam: Qasim

SRINAGAR: Muslim Deeni Mahaz leader Dr Qasim Faktoo believes besides secularism and nationalism,Muslims of the world are faced up with two major and dangerous deviations: Rationalism and Humanism.

In a statement issued to the press Qasim, who is serving a jail sentence, said: “These two deviations are being propagated by anti Muslim nations, non governmental organisations and important personalities right from the time it was realised that no religion whether divine or man-made can be projected as an alternative to Islam”.

According to Mahaz leader all other religions besides Islam lack universalism and have shrunk to respective places of worship.

“To tackle the universality and appeal of Islam Rationalism and Humanism are being propagated as world religions. These two deviant ideologies are spreading like wild fire and today 13.4 percent of the world population prefers to be identified as a rationalist instead of identifying by respective religion”, he said.
