J&K Bank outplays Deccan Rovers by a solitary goal

Lucknow: In the ongoing All India Super Sports Society Cup Lucknow, two semi finals matches were played in presence of Hon’ble Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh and Chief Guest on the occasion Mr. Akhilesh Yadav among other guests and a huge crowd.

In the first semifinal match J&K Bank defeated Deccan Rovers Pune by a solitary goal. Striker Prem kumar took an early lead for his team on a free kick outside the 18 yard box in the 7th min of the match. Playmakers Urfan and Rizwan kept the Pune defence busy but could not doubled the lead for his team. However in the 2nd half Deccan Rovers held the maximum part of ball possession but Bank Defensemen never allowed them to equalise. Till the completion of full and added time  scoreline remained the same and thus J&K Bank were the first team to reach in the final of the tournamnet.

Pertinently, J&K Bank Team is playing in absence of their top 7 players who are busy with the assignments of representing State Team in upcoming Santosh Trophy next month.

As per the fixture final match is scheduled tomorrow at 1 pm between J&K Bank and the winner of second semifinalist teams Air India and Sunrise Lucknow.
