Nobody shall be allowed to play with teachers sentiments: EJAC

SRINAGAR: An emergent meeting of EJAC was convened under the President ship of Senior Vice President Fayaz Ahmad Shabnum.

All the central, Provincial, District and zonal level leaders of EJAC Participated in the meeting.

The session termed the 30 January protest programmes of J&K Teachers Forum (basic pillar) as genuine. It was made amply clear to State Government especially Department of Education that teachers of the State especially Teachers Forum has remained front runner in resolving the issues of the result of personal efforts and unblemished leadership of Ab. Qayoom Wani and sacrifice of his brave associates.

The session discussed the unnecessary orders, circulars issued by the officers of the department which is an attempt to play with the honour & dignity of teachers especially of R.E.T’s in the name of transfer, leaders of Teachers Forum and lecturers Forum are being harassed was strongly castigated.

In the session the EJAC General secretary Farooq Ahmad Trali warned all the officers of Education Department especially Director School Education to desist from issuing derogatory statements of Teachers and their honour shall not prove fruitful for them.

The teachers of the State are builders of the nation who have left no stone unturned in illuminating the society with knowledge.

We have full faith and confidence on the leadership of Ab. Qayoom Wani and lacs of employees of the State are ready to lay sacrifice anything for this and will play fiddle to them.

The session cautioned the Director school Education (Dr.) Shah Faisal that harassing of office bearers of Teachers Forum and Lecturers Forum shall have serious repercussions and the whole responsibility shall lie squarely on state Govt.

All the employees and leaders of EJAC are closely monitoring and watching the insensitive and non serious statements of officers of Education department, if the State Government Fails to take serious note of these officers, the lacs of employees of EJAC shall physically participate in the protest of teachers forum and consequences whatsoever shall be responsibility state Government.
