SRINAGAR : Eight structures including a Mosque were damaged in different fire incidents across the valley.
Fire broke out in a joint residential house of Nazir Ahmad Ganaie and Gul Mohammad Ganaie sons of Abdul Khaliq Ganaie resident of Shahu Sachan in the jurisdiction of Police Station Devsar, Kulgam, resulting in partial damage to the structure. Fire tenders brought fire under control with the help of police and locals.
In another fire incident, fire broke out in a Masjid Sharief at Wanganpora Nawakadal, Srinagar, in the jurisdiction of Police Station Safakadal, resulting in partial damage to the Masjid Sharief. Fire tenders brought fire under control with the help of police and locals.
In another fire incident, fire broke out in the residential house of Mohammad Ayoub Dar resident of Kalamdanpora Urdu Bazar which engulfed the adjacent houses of Burhan Bashir Bagow, Nazir Ahmad Bagow, Ali Mohammad Najar, Nazir Ahmad Ahangar and Nazir Ahmad Najar, resulting in damage to all the structures. Fire tenders brought fire under control with the help of police and locals.
However, no loss of life or injury was reported in these fire incidents.
