ADC reviews snow clearance arrangements in Kupwara

KUPWARA: Additional Deputy Commissioner, Kupwara convened a meeting of officers of district administration to review snow clearance works, availability of ration, power and drinking water supply besides conduct of BOSE examination.

Mechanical Engineering Department has made nine snow cutters available with manpower to tackle any eventuality. The snow clearance control rooms have been established and linked with PCRs in Kupwara, Handwara and Tangdhar headquarters.

The ADC directed all concerned agencies associated with essential services to remain at their stations to monitor snow clearance works and other necessary supplies.
