Special arrangements made for stranded passengers in Bandipora, Gurez

BANDIPORA: In view of closure of Bandipora-Gurez road, the stranded passengers would be facilitated to reach their destination via 22 km HCC Tunnel during current winter season. Sundays have been fixed to move civilian passengers via this Tunnel.

This was decided during a high level meeting of officers of civil administration, police, Army and HCC authorities at Bandipora with Deputy Commissioner Bandipora Sajad Hussain in chair.

The passengers in Bandipora have been asked to collect Advance-Movement-Passes from Additional Deputy Commissioner Bandipora or Assistant Deputy Commissioner, Revenue, Bandipora. Similarly, the passengers in Gurez area can get these passes from SDM Gurez or Tehsildar Gurez before the scheduled day.
